Why should you study A Level Law?

Our Cambridge A Level Law home study course provides you with an introduction to the main principles of the law as practised in England and Wales. You will start to explore and understand the English legal system, and develop a critical awareness of its structure, personnel and operation.

The syllabus also focuses on two areas of substantive law (Contract and Tort), and encourages you to develop skills of analysis and problem-solving through the application of legal rules. It will also help you develop your skills in communication and reasoning, both highly valued in both higher education and the world of work.

Studying Law at A Level opens up opportunities for future study and careers not only in Law – as a solicitor, barrister or legal executive – but also in Business, Politics, Economics and Government.

Note that our experienced University Services Adviser can advise on A Level courses and all aspects of university entrance. These services are easy to access though our booking form.
