Why Study Cambridge IGCSE Environmental Management
Our impact on both the security of the earth’s resources and its life-sustaining systems are of increasing concern. Learners of Environmental Management gain an in depth understanding of the Earth and its natural systems. It is a cross curricular course drawing on the disciplines of Biology, Geography, Earth Science and Economics.
Our Cambridge IGCSE Environmental Management home schooling course will help your child to:
Analyse the impact of human society on the environment and our resources
Investigate how our environment can be managed sustainably in the future, from both a local and a global perspective
Investigate new thinking in environmental management along with environmental economics and the quest for alternative technologies.
This IGCSE course assumes that learners will not have studied Environmental Management previously and so there are no prior requirements.
Your child should allow for up to 150 hours’ study time to complete their IGCSE Environmental Management course plus additional time for completing assignments. This is an approximate figure which depends on their learning abilities and the pace at which they work.
I look forward to enthusing about Geography with you. No matter what question you have just drop me an email and I will do all I can to help. I am also an experienced teacher of deaf children.

Geography and Environmental Management are such important subjects, especially today! They teach us what the world we live in is like, how it came to be this way and what it may look like in the future.
The IGCSE schoolwork and assignments kept me on my toes, though no topic was an impossible mountain to climb with Canvas’s creative resources, my Tutors just an email away, and my ever supporting parents’ help. All of Wolsey’s resources had ensured that I was comfortable during my examination.
