Jackie Francis

Jackie has been a class teacher, intervention specialist, learning support assistant, online teaching facilitator and private tutor to children aged 5-18, and adult learners.

She has had the opportunity to work in both state and independent schools, in all phases – Primary, Secondary and Higher Education. She has supported both gifted students and those with specific learning needs such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, autism and mental health struggles.

Jackie’s strengths are to champion and support students pastorally, enabling them to become reflective, independent learners. She is always keen to develop these skills and has gained counselling experience as a voluntary pastoral worker, supporting families from many backgrounds. She has completed a diploma in Life Coaching and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

As an SPM, Jackie is particularly excited to work alongside families from all over the world and mentor students to successfully achieve their academic goals, by providing a holistic and bespoke learning journey.

Jackie enjoys living in Bournemouth, by the sea and New Forest. She loves to spend family time with her husband and their three grown up sons, plus their far too energetic spaniel!
