Jo holds a BSc (Hons) in Third World Development Studies and an MSc in Education and Training for Development. She has worked within the education sector for more than 15 years from administrative roles to teaching English as a Second Language, specialising in exam preparation and English for Academic Purposes.
She is now currently studying for the Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Her teaching experience has brought her a wealth of knowledge about students’ different cultural learning experiences and the values they hold for their future prospects.
Combined with her previous experience as a Course Administrator, Jo has an appreciation for the importance of education and teamwork in helping a student to fulfil their potential and reach their aspirations. In her free time, she likes to do pliates, yoga, go swimming as well as to immerse herself in world of books, museums, theatre, art galleries and the exploration of new places when travelling.
