After taking a first degree in Literature, Judy went on to study for a PGCE. More recently, she returned to education, completing a distance learning Master’s Degree in the Philosophy of Health and Happiness and a TEFL qualification.
Originally from Devon, she has lived in Oxford for many years but misses being close to the sea! Prior to having her two children, Judy was a journalist – latterly working in the press office of an international aid agency, which involved travel to several African countries, to attract publicity and funds for its work tackling global poverty and injustice.
Judy returned to work, in education – supporting school children and university students with special educational needs. As well as spending time with family and friends, Judy enjoys travel, the theatre/dance, interior design and growing organic foods – she is also a great believer in lifelong learning.
