Subject: Computing & Computer Science

Teaching is my passion, my calling and my world. I descend from a family of teachers where my grandparents, parents and siblings all work in education. Teaching runs in my blood.

After graduating from university, I worked for an IT company and then took a career break to bring up my two children when I relocated overseas. I discovered my passion for teaching while my children attended a British International School in Norway. I got involved in various children activities like tutoring, dancing and conducting various events for youngsters.

I started my career in education as an ICT teacher at a school in New Delhi, India. I have a rich experience of living and teaching in various cultural environments and also have a good knowledge of different education systems followed across the globe, along with excellent subject knowledge.

Since arriving in the UK, I have been teaching ICT/Computer Science up to IGCSE level. I like to motivate children to excel academically, and I strive for excellence myself. This led me to complete a Master’s degree in Computer Science. I completed my Master’s degree soon after my bachelors degree. I had always done well academically and this helps me to motivate young learners excel and attain better scores.

I am also a certified Microsoft Educator, Microsoft Ambassador and a Global Minecraft Mentor. I love to integrate technology across all walks of life and have taught students, virtually, across five continents.

As a Microsoft Ambassador, I collaborate with educators across the world. My global goal is to empower young minds to take technology seriously and use it responsibly. After all, freedom comes with responsibility.

I look forward to meeting my global students online and am delighted to take the journey together.
