I am delighted to be part of the friendly and experienced Tutor team here at Wolsey Hall Oxford.
I find working one to one with students extremely rewarding, as study can be tailored to both support and challenge. It is wonderful to help children master new concepts and make progress as independent learners.
I am a qualified Primary School teacher with a BA in Geography and a PGCE in Primary Education, both from Durham University. I have over eight years of teaching experience across the Primary age range; working with children with special needs, those with English as an additional language and those identified as gifted and talented. I have taught in both small village schools and large inner city ones across Oxfordshire and enjoyed both equally. I am passionate about helping children make progress in their education and, most importantly, develop a lifelong love of learning.
Most of my spare time is spent with my two young children. We particularly enjoy reading stories together, and I have loved rediscovering all my own childhood favourite books with them. We also enjoy exploring the Oxfordshire countryside together, whatever the weather!
I very much look forward to working with you and your child and being able to support and encourage them to achieve their learning goals.
