By studying our Secondary Skills for Life homeschooling course (English National Curriculum Key Stage 3), your child will develop skills and knowledge by presenting scenarios critical to their management of future opportunities, responsibilities and challenges. An effective programme can raise aspirations and tackle barriers to learning as well as improve employability and social mobility.
In addition, a growing body of evidence shows that Life Skills education can reduce many issues surrounding emotional and physical wellbeing of students, reducing factors detrimental to student development. The skills and attributes that Secondary Skills for Life courses aim to develop are also shown to increase attainment.

This course follows the iPSHE curriculum for international schools by Wayfarer Education. It has parallels with the UK National Curriculum guidance and the guidance given for UK schools from the PSHE association. Each module is expected to take approximately 3-4 hours to complete. There are 6 modules and 2 assignments one mid-course and one at the end of the course.
The Wolsey Hall Skills for Life is currently the only international homeschooling specific curriculum for the teaching of personal, social, health and emotional education (PSHE). It is designed to be used by students independently as well as to facilitate discussions with parents and/or tutors and allow the students to reflect upon the development of their skills and knowledge. It also focuses on the social and emotional development of students and provides a methodology for ensuring skills and attributes are taught throughout key developmental stages.
Homeschooled students’ learning environments are unique and the Wolsey Hall Skills for Life programme of study seeks to be flexible and can be used in any country and any learning environment.

I firmly believe our understanding of ourselves and our place in the world, is the foundation that leads to academic success elsewhere. The better we know ourselves, the easier it is to know other things.BSc, PGCE Subject: Biology, Chemistry, Science, Skills for Life View Profile
We are in our second year now of Lower Secondary and have had such incredible responses from everyone at Wolsey Hall (teachers and admin staff alike). All the information arrived no problem, Skype calls organised seamlessly, assignments corrected sometimes the same day that they are submitted. Clear, helpful feedback from the teachers. I have absolutely no affiliation with Wolsey Hall but I recommend it to everyone as we love it! Our daughter loves it, is learning loads and is excited about learning, she tells us she never wants to go back to "traditional" schooling. Thank you so much everyone.
