Developing independent learners in Chennai

Wolsey Hall Oxford has a growing base of students homeschooling in Chennai from both the local Indian and ex-pat community.

Established in 1894, Wolsey Hall has a long tradition of supporting homeschooling families. Over the years, we have continually adapted and developed our courses in order to provide the best possible learning experience for our students.

Our focus is on ensuring every student achieves their potential allowing them to proceed on whichever path they choose. All of our courses are designed to develop independent learners who understand the concepts rather than learning by rote.

Many of our students homeschooling in Chennai aspire to go on to University, with many choosing top international Universities. We offer a University Advice Service to ensure each student makes the right choices for them in their chosen field.

Quality teaching

Our academically rigorous courses are put together by members of our Tutor team and are comprehensive in their content. Courses include modules that students work through and are complemented by textbooks and additional interesting resources. At the end of each module, students complete an assignment that is marked by their Tutor. Our Tutors provide detailed and encouraging feedback including suggestions on areas to improve.

Our Tutors are all fully qualified with UK recognised qualifications and many years of teaching experience.

Fees

Wolsey Hall Oxford fees are very competitive with top International schools in India.

Our fees include all the textbooks and course materials as well as support from Tutors and a Student Progress Manager who ensures your child keeps on track with their studies. Students access their courses via our online learning platform Canvas. Parents can access Canvas under their own login that provides them with sample answers as well as allowing them to track their child’s progress.
