About our school

A world-class, approved online school

At Wolsey Hall Oxford, we care about providing the very best education for all our students – so they can build a solid academic foundation that gives them the best start, in their learning and in life.

That’s why we’re proud to be one of only a handful of online schools that are Cambridge-approved for Lower Secondary, GCSE Level and A Level, and the first that’s Cambridge-approved for Primary.

We are also an approved Pearson Virtual Centre, allowing remote invigilation for some of their courses. Pearson Edexcel qualifications are accepted by over 650 leading universities worldwide, including top institutions in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

These curriculums ensure our students are attaining the very best qualification standards by offering consistent learning journey from Primary to A Levels, based on the UK national and Cambridge curriculums.

The value of a Cambridge education

The Cambridge curriculum is a hallmark of a world-class British education, and is respected by universities and employers around the globe. The curriculum is focused on developing students’ critical thinking and evaluation skills, as well as their ability to engage with the world around them and come up with new ideas.

The majority of our courses across all our learning levels follow the Cambridge curriculum, with the exception of GCSE Level Psychology and Art and Design, and A Level History of Art, Politics, Biology (UK), Biology (International), Chemistry (UK), Chemistry (International), Physics (UK), and Physics (International), which follow Pearson Edexcel, another widely respected British curriculum.
