Our family’s experience with Wolsey Hall
Our family’s experience with Wolsey Hall has been nothing short of exceptional. As a parent, the decision to home school my son was daunting, but Wolsey Hall has made this journey not only manageable but truly rewarding. From the outset, my son has been fully engaged and stimulated by the comprehensive and well-structured curriculum and, the academic guidance provided has been excellent, ensuring that he remains on track and motivated in his studies. A special mention must be made of his Student Progress Manager, who has been a constant source of support, her dedication and professionalism have played a pivotal role in my son’s academic growth, making the learning process smooth and enjoyable. Wolsey Hall’s commitment to delivering high-quality education has been evident in every interaction we’ve had with them. Their approach to home schooling has been both effective and empathetic, understanding that each student’s journey is unique, particularly my son's. For anyone considering home schooling, I wholeheartedly recommend Wolsey Hall. Our home schooling experience and the process has been seamless and stress-free.

A Very Positive View of Wolsey Hall Education
I am delighted to provide a positive report on my daughter's two-year study experience for the IGCSE at Wolsey Hall. Several key factors throughout her journey contributed to an enriching and successful educational experience. Flexibility of Programs: One of the standout features of Wolsey Hall's programs is their flexibility. This aspect was invaluable for my daughter, allowing her to tailor her study schedule to fit around her other commitments and interests. The ability to work at her own pace ensured that she could fully engage with the material without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Quality of Written Feedback and Further Reading Suggestions: The quality of the staff at Wolsey Hall, particularly in providing written feedback and suggesting further reading, was exceptional. Her tutors' detailed and constructive feedback helped her improve her understanding of the subject matter and encouraged her to delve deeper into the topics covered. The additional reading suggestions were instrumental in broadening her knowledge and enhancing her learning experience. Professional Support from Student Progress Manager: The role of the Student Progress Manager cannot be overstated in its importance within the school. Their professional support and guidance were invaluable throughout my daughter's studies. From providing academic advice to offering pastoral care, the Student Progress Manager played a crucial role in ensuring that my daughter felt supported and motivated to succeed. Development of Valuable Life Skills: Wolsey Hall provided a solid academic foundation and helped my daughter develop essential life skills such as time management and online meeting planning. These skills have proven invaluable as she prepares for her next steps in education and beyond. Overall, my daughter's experience at Wolsey Hall has been overwhelmingly positive. The program's flexibility, the staff's quality in providing written feedback and suggesting further reading, and the professional support provided by the Student Progress Manager have all contributed to her academic success and personal growth. I cannot thank Wolsey Hall enough for their dedication to providing a top-quality education and supporting my daughter every step of the way.

Wolsey Hall Oxford provides quality content and flexibility around learning
This is the second year that I am doing Wolsey Hall with my son (year 7 currently). The content is good quality and the lesson plans and structure are easy to follow. We like the flexibility around the lessons and assignments, it gives us freedom to do the lessons when it suits us, so its not bound to a certain day and time. The feedback from the tutors for assignments is very helpful as it helps us to see the progress and understanding of a subject very clearly.

Quality curriculum and excellent support
We started homeschooling my 9 year old daughter 3 years ago, the last year with Wolsey Hall. We chose homeschooling for flexibility and the freedom to choose subjects and curriculums. We enrolled in Wolsey Hall initially for French and computing for assistance with lesson content and Geography and Science for convenience. The Wolsey Hall lesson plans and method of teaching was a good fit. Canvas is user friendly and the on the go accessibility a great advantage. The lesson plans is easy to follow, of excellent quality and the programs structured but still flexible enough in terms of scheduling. I found the feedback so useful that we enrolled for English and Maths as well later in the year. Our student progress manager and tutors are supportive, accessible and professional. My daughter finds the lesson content interesting and the constructive and positive way in which assignment feedback is given, encouraging. We feel supported on our homeschooling journey and enjoy learning with Wolsey Hall.

Good teachers, quality material
Attentive and encouraging teachers who clearly love what they do. Good quality materials - both books and online. The material is well-organised into sections which make it easy to follow. Assignments are graded promptly and the teachers give full, honest feedback. Our teen homeschooler is very happy with Wolsey Hall.

Exceptional Homeschooling Experience with Wolsey Hall Oxford: A Nomadic Family's Perspective
Wolsey Hall Oxford has proven to be an exceptional choice for our family's homeschooling needs. The school's staff has consistently demonstrated unwavering support, making our educational journey both enriching and rewarding. The provided materials have been more than sufficient, offering a comprehensive and well-structured curriculum. The online platform has opened up countless opportunities for learning and interaction, fostering a dynamic and engaging educational experience for our child. One of the standout features of Wolsey Hall Oxford is its adaptability to our family's unique situation. Due to job assignments in different countries, traditional schooling became a challenge. However, Wolsey Hall provided the perfect solution. Over the course of two years, our daughter successfully completed math, English, science, and French courses, and we couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of education she received. While homeschooling demands a significant level of parental control and commitment, Wolsey Hall made the process manageable. The staff's guidance and the well-structured materials were instrumental in ensuring our daughter's academic progress. Recognizing the need for additional support, we also enlisted the help of tutors, contributing to a well-rounded learning experience. Wolsey Hall Oxford's homeschooling program has proven to be an excellent solution, especially during periods of nomadic living. It has allowed our family to maintain a high standard of education for our child, irrespective of geographical challenges. We wholeheartedly recommend Wolsey Hall Oxford to any family seeking a flexible, supportive, and top-notch homeschooling experience. Sincerely, Ernest and Yeva

Homeschooling from Namibia
We had a very disappointing experience enrolling our son and daughter with a Germany based home school. I found out about Wolsey Hall through a parent in Namibia. I was a bit anxious to approach the school and try and get my son enrolled. The very first contact and every other contact and communication we have had with the school has just been amazing. Everyone at the school is so super friendly and helpful, always offering assistance and checking that all is good. We felt right at home and welcome! It was so easy to enroll and get started, friendly support all the way! The educational level is top quality which will open doors worldwide and the material and curriculum is very modern, up-to-date with the current times and user/child friendly. My son enjoys the learning process and is thriving. The positivity, enthusiasm and encouragement he receives from the school boosts his willingness to do his best and enhances his educational development in so many ways. We will not look back! After trying out two modules, we will enroll him for all his subjects. Our daughter will follow this year still and in a few years our third child will be enrolled too. They have figured everything out to make it a very pleasant and smooth experience. From how payments can be made to the material being shipped, it all works quickly and with ease. I wish I could have done my school journey at Wolsey Hall as a pupil.

Happy to recommend Wolsey Hall Oxford
We are in our fourth school year in three years at Wolsey Hall Oxford. The quality of the curriculum and most of the tutors has been fantastic, and we foresee continuing with WHO for as long as possible. We have appreciated being able to mix and match year level courses to meet our children's needs, as well as following our own life schedule and speeding up or slowing down as needed; WHO has given our family a lot of freedom to live life and still well educate our children. Furthermore, when a child is bored with lower than their level work, there is an option to bump the child up to the next year level after their current course is complete. This has worked very well for us, though in some subjects, such as English, where our child has the full capability of higher level work, the content is too mature for her age (we have an older child who has already completed those courses). Most of the tutors provide excellent feedback and they are mostly responsive within a reasonable timeframe. Deja at Learning Support is fantastic, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Only two points to raise in what I wish WHO did better: firstly, a number of times over the past three years, we've received an email that our Student Progress Manager or subject tutor is changing effective immediately without any explanation. Just this week, we received one of those emails for one of our children's favourite tutors who has been with us since we began WHO in 2020. There has been no chance to say goodbye and no explanation, so that could certainly be improved. Secondly, because we are a multinational family, A levels do not make sense for us, as our children are likely to attend university outside of the UK. I truly wish WHO offered the International Baccalaureate Program to continue the well-rounded education they offer at lower years. As it is currently, after IGCSEs, we will have to transition elsewhere to do IB, which we really do not want to do, as our experience has been so good at WHO.

Our experience with Wolsey Hall Oxford
I have never been so confident that choosing Wosley Hall Oxford for our son was the best decision. Our son has made excellent progress over four years. He became an independent learner and is not afraid to ask for help if needed. His tutors are always willing to help, explain things in more detail, and discuss what could be done better. There is plenty of materials to go through—lots of extra activities. In our opinion, the curriculum is rich and comprehensive. The school offers free clubs like chess, art & design, photography, creative writing, book club, debate, choir, access to the library, etc. Regarding socialising, there is a community\forum for children where our son meets students from all over the world. This experience is priceless. On top of that, we have a fantastic Student Progress Manager who: supervises our child's studies, makes the transition to the next year so much easier, helps with all queries and much more. We feel like this way of education helps our son to become an independent, self-confident and happy teenager. He developed lots of interest outside the school because he was not overwhelmed by it. From the perspective of the past four years, I wish we could do it earlier. It would save us time, worries and fatigue, not to mention the quality of education offered by Wosley Hall Oxford.

High quality education - adorable staff
High quality education, my children have improved a lot. I'm happy to be part of Wolsey Hall family. My younger dauther joined 3 years ago, she wasn't able to read or write, and for her was so difficult coming from a Spanish speaking country - now she's showing a huge improvement. My kids love the Clubs - there are so many activities for them. The staff is very helpful, giving accurate answers on time. I do suggest to keep closer contact with the kids. Sometimes they would like to say at least hello through the webcam ;-) it makes feel more comfortable. The online learning platform used by WH is friendly and easy to use.

I enrolled my child in Wolsey Hall…
I enrolled my child in Wolsey Hall almost three years ago, and I have been extremely impressed with the quality of education that she has received. The online platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate, making it simple for my child to access their lessons and assignments. The curriculum is comprehensive and challenging, providing my child with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their studies. One of the best things about Wolsey Hall is the flexibility it provides. My child is able to complete her schoolwork at her own pace and on her own schedule, allowing her to balance the studies with other activities and responsibilities. This has been especially helpful during the COVID-19 pandemic, when traditional in-person schools have been forced to close or limit their operations. Another advantage of Wolsey Hall is the support that is available to students and parents. The teachers are highly qualified and are always available to answer questions and provide guidance. In addition, the school offers a variety of resources and services, including tutoring, counseling, and extracurricular activities, to help students succeed. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Wolsey Hall and would highly recommend it to other parents. It has provided my child with a high-quality education and has given us the flexibility and support we need during these challenging times.

Outstanding!
I highly recommend Wolsey Hall. I am a Primary School teacher and was hired as a private tutor for a 7 y.o boy. The content is of high quality and the course is incredibly well structured. The platform is user friendly and the lesson plans very easy to follow. There is a large amount of available resources, for extra curricular activities as well. Even though it’s an online school, you really feel supported and part of a community. The tutors are extremely helpful, easily reachable and the feedback they give is the reflection of the attention and care they demonstrate to each student.

It works perfectly for a family that wants to have high quality studies at home, leading their children's learning.
Wolsey Hall works for any family with a desire to lead the educational process of their children. You will find in the Wolsey Hall team, spectacular professionals, who give you a unique level of attention but always from the place of support. It is a school that promotes order, high student participation in their learning, and finally with an amazing rigor.

Highest quality courses and more …
High quality course materials plus loads of additional useful online memberships like Brainpop that has kept my son engaged. My son is 9 and taking year 5 and 6 courses. His experience so far has been fabulous and I'm very much impressed with the quality of WH courses and ongoing support. We started in January and my son is thriving. I was homeschooled for about half of my school years and my parents tried different programs but none came close to WH. It's not cheap but I'm so happy I didn't settle for anything else.

A Full Academic Year Experience
Our daughter joined Wolsey Hall Oxford (Year 3) last year. After completing a whole academic year, we are very satisfied with the overall experience and continuing with Wolsey Hall. The teachers and program manager are very helpful. The course content is of high quality and easy to follow. We also like the flexibility with respect to time management, subject selection, and overall progress. It also helps that they are a Cambridge-accredited school, which may allow us to continue with Wolsey Hall Oxford during the upper secondary and IGCSE years.

Wolsey Hall Oxford, the best home school provider
Since the emergence of Covid in 2020, my husband and I, started considering an alternative way of schooling for our 2 children. High quality education, a British international curriculum and a Cambridge accredited home school provider, enabling our children to study any place in the world, were our main aims. I must admit Wolsey Hall Oxford accomplished so much more than those initial aims! Our children thrive in this environment where lesson content is always interesting and interactive. Our son is Twice Exceptional (2E) and the learning support center under management of Deja Pygott, made the necessary accommodations for him, to enable him to flourish academically. The ongoing support and constructive feedback from our Student Progress Manager, Charlotte Casey and subject tutors (Emilie Champion, Rachel Pereira da Silva, Nathalie Hanney, Ed Morris and James Hazel) enables our 2 children (daughter aged 9 and son aged 11 years) to accomplish all their study goals with eagerness and success. We will definitively continue this journey with Wolsey Hall Oxford and we feel truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful and supportive team. Wilmaré Gouws – South Africa

A wonderful online school
My son had previously been going to a very good state school where he gained a great deal academically, but when he moved to Wolsey Hall Oxford during the pandemic, he was able to go at his own pace and thoroughly cover the subject matter for his eight iGCSEs, furthering his knowledge and developing a love of learning. He has very much enjoyed his experience with Wolsey Hall Oxford, which has prepared him to go into the Canadian education system with ease. Not only is the material excellent quality, for each of the subjects, but his progress manager, Pat, has been wonderful and always there to support us; all his tutors have been amazing, giving feedback instantly; and his online tutoring lessons with David for Science have been exceptional. It has been a privilege to have my son studying with you. Thank you Wolsey Hall Oxford!

An A* School!
My kids have been with Wolsey Hall for the past 5 years now and we’ve never had a single minute’s regret. Their tutors are highly knowledgeable and offer invaluable feedback on every assignment; it was not even 2 assignments later that my children had been pushed up into a completely different league in terms of grades and quality of work due to tutor feedback. The friendly and relaxed nature of the tutors makes working with them a joy for my kids and they inspire a sense of respect and esteem for their work and the school. Supporting staff are with you every step of the way: from ordering books, working out a year-plan, right up-to the day of examination and even further on, through comprehensive university advice. The staff are friendly and helpful and seem to think it only standard practice to go above and beyond every time. But it is the non-academic aspects of Wolsey Hall that my kids have been very taken with. The virtual clubs, monthly competitions and online community page make up for anything kids think they might be missing out on at school and then some! We are beyond pleased with everything Wolsey Hall offers, though we do wish they would accommodate more design and art focused subjects. Nevertheless we fully intend to work with them right up until the end of the childrens’ school career, their comprehensive and successful approach to examinations and schooling during COVID speaks volumes to how they are equipped for the future of learning.

Transferring my daughter's studies to Wolsey Hall - best decision ever.
My daughter joined distance learning at Wolsey Hall in December 2016. Prior to that she attended international schools in the Middle East and North Africa. For work projects we relocated almost every 2 years, and Evangelista plays big tennis professionally. So when she reached 11 years of age and we had moved continents once more in summer 2016, we decided to move out of regular schooling into home studies, so to avoid permanent stress of adjusting to different curriculums and being tied to physical places. It was our personal experience of adjusting to our own schedule and discipline that we found challenging for the first few months. Though the school Student Managers and Tutors were the most supporting of our first few months working on helping us smoothly transition into home studies. Eventually my daughter adjusted the best to the self organising with her subjects. And for so many years now the schooling at Wolsey Hall is the most pleasant experience we ever had with schools. Organisation is of absolute high quality, the platform is organised at best level, everything is clear, information is always systematic, logical, well explained, additional resources provided, no delays in any aspect, and the Student Manager and the Tutors - are the most pleasant people and professionals at their jobs. Communication is always timely on the School Staff's part and we feel always comfortable addressing any subject questions and administrative queries. We get prompt responses and assistance. I truly appreciate the fact that 5 years back I chose Wolsey Hall for my daughter. She is the most happiest child doing her studies with this school. She grew into a confident young girl thanks to the whole homeschooling experience; she appreciates the freedom of making her own choices, knows the worth of her self efforts, she learnt her own time management, and her grades are the highest now more than have ever been in regular schools. She grew to love doing Math, which was not the case in her past regular schooling, thanks to the Wolsey Hall Math Tutor's encouragement and feedback and all the additional resources that are offered within the module. Thank you to every person making it possible and making the home schooling a wonderful experience. May the School prosper for many more generations.

An amazing experience!
My daughter was a student at WH for 4 years. She studied 8 IGCSEs and 2 AS and A levels. She finished in summer 2021 with excellent grades and has progressed to third level education. Our experience with WH has been great from day 1. Mandy, her student progress manager, was helpful, efficient and very understanding when we had any questions or issues (especially during COVID when exams were cancelled). The material we received was of top quality and we found the prices to be very reasonable. Tutor support was made available with my daughter being able to email her tutors with any problems or doubts. Assignments were marked quickly and returned with helpful feedback. The university advice service, which both offered support during the preparation of personal statements and provided references for my daughter’s UCAS application, was outstanding. Thank you Wolsey Hall for the amazing experience!

A wonderful experience
Our three children spent 2 years studying with Wolsey Hall for their IGCSE and had a wonderful experience. Their IGCSE results are outstanding which is due to their hard work and the support and standard of education from Wolsey Hall. The children learnt how to manage their own study time and gained independence while at the same time having great support when needed from their wonderful Student Progress Manager Rona, and their subject tutors. Through the Covid pandemic their education was not interrupted and they were able to study as normal. Our children have gained so much from their time studying with Wolsey Hall and we will be forever grateful for the support and the extremely high quality of education.

Wolsey Hall Oxford have been an excellent alternative to mainstream schooling
Wolsey Hall Oxford have been an excellent alternative to mainstream education for my daughter and us. I feel that the work she is given is actually much better than she had at school as the quality is very high and not dependent on any individual teacher's ability. The marking of assignments has also been good. She is given detailed feedback on what examiners are looking for and how to improve her work for next time. This is a great improvement from the almost constant testing she used to have at school with little useful feedback. The content is good, it is logical and well delivered. Her progress manager responds to emails and makes any adjustments to her assignment schedule that are required. I think you would need to be self motivated for this style of learning and I keep are careful eye on her and make sure she knows what she is doing. You are needed as a parent to support the learning.

We've been using the services of Wolsey Hall Oxford...
We've been using the services of Wolsey Hall Oxford for a year or so now and the students who have worked through the courses have all enjoyed the experience. The Wolsey Hall Oxford online courses with tutor support and feedback allow our students to take courses that are not able to fit within our school timetable. This gives students the flexibility of choosing courses at school and online. The students who have been taking the online options have well developed independent learning skills and are self regulated, motivated learners. The quality and structure of each IGCSE course is excellent and the feedback from tutors after assignment submission is always details and constructive. As a school principal, my priority is to ensure that our students have the best possible opportunities to learn and receive the best in course instruction and feedback. As a father, I have been pleased that my own daughter has taken a Wolsey Hall Oxford course. This option enabled her to take an IGCSE course that did not fit the school timetable. I've been really impressed with the way in which she has progressed through the course and she has been so happy to receive constructive and positive feedback. According to my daughter, she loves Wolsey Hall Oxford because the tutors are so supportive, response times to assignment submissions and questions are excellent, great quality learning resources are provided, and student progress is monitored closely and carefully.
