Designed to provide your child with a world-class education from home, our pioneering online school encourages academic excellence at all levels, from Primary through to A level (ages 3-18). Drawing on decades of experience in supporting the success of learners outside the traditional classroom, our courses carefully balance online and offline study to help your child unleash their potential.

With our wide range of homeschooling courses and learning materials, your child can study at the level and breadth they feel comfortable with – whatever their age and abilities. For a flexible, enjoyable, varied and multimedia learning approach that empowers them to develop into independent learners, explore what a Wolsey Hall Oxford education has to offer for your family below.

Complete flexibility

Our courses offer a world-class education without the traditional classroom, giving you and your child unrivalled control over their learning: no live lessons to be on time for, or strict timetables to fit your day around. Away from crowded classrooms, your child can focus on working in a distraction-free environment, making the most of their study time.

Each course is broken down into modules, helping your child work their way through the materials in manageable chunks – always in their own time, and at their own pace. This personalised, fully flexible learning approach is something we’ve pioneered for over a century – ensuring your child really can learn without limits, while enabling them to spend more time benefiting from building enriching experiences outside their studies.

Our student learning platform

Our easy-to-use student learning platform gives your child instant access to everything they need for each of their courses. It’s where they’ll find all their learning materials and resources, and where they can upload assignments, find out their grades and receive feedback from their course Tutors. You’ll also have parent access whilst your child is studying with us, so you can follow their progress and achievements.

Independent learning

Our courses are designed to increase your child’s independence as they progress through the levels, encouraging them to become self-motivated learners. This helps them work gradually up to what will be expected of them at university and beyond.

Exam information

Most of our courses at both GCSE Level and A level are assessed via internationally respected Cambridge exams (with the exception of GCSE Psychology and A Level Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History of Art and Politics, which are assessed by the Pearson Edexcel exam board).

Each subject includes plenty of past papers so that your child can familiarise themselves with the types of questions, as well as an optional paid mock exam to help them practice under the time pressure of exam conditions. When they’re ready, we’ll help you find a nearby exam centre where they’ll sit their exams as an external candidate.
