We regularly run live online Open Events to give families the opportunity to learn more about our world-class approach to homeschooling. These events are designed to provide clear, helpful information about how our courses work, how we support you and your child throughout your time with us, and our extracurricular opportunities and global student community.
About our live homeschooling Open Events
Each session begins with a presentation from a member of our team, offering insights into our personalised, pupil-led approach. The presentation covers key topics such as course structure, learning resources, Tutor feedback, and the parents’ role in homeschooling. We have a range of Open Events tailored to different learning levels and educational needs, with additional information provided depending on the focus of the session.
Following the presentation, there is a live Question and Answer segment where families can ask questions about any aspect of homeschooling with us. Whether you are exploring online learning for the first time or looking for support with a specific education need, these segments are designed to help you take your next steps with confidence.

If the scheduled time or date of our live events doesn’t suit you, you can watch recordings of previous events on demand. These events cover the same topics as our live sessions, but you won’t be able to ask questions at the end of the session.

English for Year 3
We are doing English for our son. The school provides a great course for the entire year, which is very well organised and progressively introduces new concepts. It is very easy to follow, as the course provides clear instructions regarding what to teach for each day of the week, so the home teacher can just follow it. This structured course is much better than what we had prepared by ourselves previously.

Exceptional Homeschooling with Engaging, Hands-On Learning
Our experience with this homeschooling college has been outstanding. My child is currently studying English, Maths, Science, and English Speaking & Listening, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the well-structured curricula that cover a broad yet balanced range of material. The lessons have helped my child progress significantly in phonics, reading, writing, number skills, and verbal communication. The science curriculum goes beyond textbooks to promote hands-on learning through simple age-appropriate experiments and outdoors activities. My child loves the experiments and the activities that involve observing and classifying plants and animals outdoors, like in the park. It’s not just about facts—it nurtures a love and care for nature, teaching them to understand the needs of animals, plants, and the environment in a meaningful way. The support system here is exceptional. The tutors and progress manager provide detailed, constructive feedback along with practical tips for improvement. They’re highly responsive, easy to reach via email and always available for video calls when needed. The assignment schedule with agreed deadlines keeps learning on track while instilling discipline and accountability. Best of all, the student- and parent-driven approach allows for flexibility and personalization, making it perfect for tailoring education to my child’s pace and interests. Overall, this homeschooling college delivers a smooth, engaging, and well-structured learning experience that combines academic rigor with real-world exploration. Highly recommended for families who want a personalised yet thorough education!

Wolsey hall provides us with great resources and a accessible online portal to study whilst we are travelling. The tutors are very supportive. We have a structured a monitored approach to home schooling with Wolsey Hall.

Organised and Efficient
Wolsey Hall has been very beneficial to my own studies, helping me achieve an A in all of my AS level subjects. Comparing Wolsey's programme to my former school's system, I would say they are much more organised and have more to give in terms of content. The tutors are very helpful and I think many students would benefit from the Wolsey community.

We've been using the services of Wolsey Hall Oxford for a year or so now and the students who have worked through the courses have all enjoyed the experience. The Wolsey Hall Oxford online courses with tutor support and feedback allow our students to take courses that are not able to fit within our school timetable. This gives students the flexibility of choosing courses at school and online. The students who have been taking the online options have well developed independent learning skills and are self regulated, motivated learners. The quality and structure of each IGCSE course is excellent and the feedback from tutors after assignment submission is always details and constructive. As a school principal, my priority is to ensure that our students have the best possible opportunities to learn and receive the best in course instruction and feedback. As a father, I have been pleased that my own daughter has taken a Wolsey Hall Oxford course. This option enabled her to take an IGCSE course that did not fit the school timetable. I've been really impressed with the way in which she has progressed through the course and she has been so happy to receive constructive and positive feedback. According to my daughter, she loves Wolsey Hall Oxford because the tutors are so supportive, response times to assignment submissions and questions are excellent, great quality learning resources are provided, and student progress is monitored closely and carefully.

Pass, pass..and....Pass!
Wolsey Hall cradled my education and catered to every personal need, which successfully equalled passes on all my AS exams! Additionally I am pleased to say I managed to bump my C grade at AS Literature up to an A upon my rewrite with Wolsey. I am sincerely grateful for my tutors, Rachel Waring and Michelle Morgan, and fondly recommend the hands-on support and guidance that Wolsey offers.

Wolsey is great!
I have been studying with Wolsey Hall for the past 3 years, taking IGCSE History in the first year for which I gained an A* and then A level History and English Literature in the last two, both of which i achieved high A grades in at the AS exam sitting in the Autumn. I have really enjoyed studying with Wolsey - the course material is engaging and very accessible, the tutors are incredibly helpful and the feedback/advice is excellent. I would definitely highly recommend studying with Wolsey.

Wolsey HallOxford school - review
This is Tatiana, I am really happy with Wolsey HallOxford school. My daughter being a tennis player and required more practice and traveling, Wolsey school help her to be on her studies wherever she travels and as per her own schedule without missing her studies . Teachers are very supportive and helpful and fast in reply. As of now this is a great method of schooling, flexible and encouraging the kids to be motivated and to study by themselves.

Thank you so much to Pat and all the teachers involved with Poppy. Everything from the outset right through to resources and feedback on assignments has been excellent. During the initial Skype call the teachers were so friendly and approachable which made Poppy very relaxed and raring to get started. Pat has been great in sending revised schedules when Poppy’s health has not been good and any queries we have had on an admin side. You have all been invaluable - I would thoroughly recommend you.
