Supportive, personalised learning for children with SEND, anxiety, or learning differences.

Special educational needs (SEND) homeschooling

Introduction

Homeschooling that adapts to your child’s needs

When mainstream school isn’t the right fit

Is your child increasingly anxious or withdrawn at school? Do they struggle to manage the noise, pace or social demands of the classroom? Are they missing out on learning because they can’t access the support they need?

A flexible learning alternative for SEND students

At Wolsey Hall Oxford, we understand that even with the best intentions, mainstream schools aren’t always equipped to meet the needs of every child with a special educational need or disability. Whilst many schools are working hard to improve inclusivity, students with needs such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia or physical disabilities may still face inconsistent support, limited flexibility and learning environments that feel overwhelming or inaccessible.

That’s where homeschooling can provide a powerful alternative.

Personalised study plans that build confidence

Our structured, flexible courses allow students to study at home, at their own pace, and in ways that work for them. With no live lessons or rigid schedules, your child can revisit material as needed, take breaks when it suits them, and access a wide range of multimedia learning materials tailored to different learning preferences. We’ll help you build a personalised study programme that reduces stress, builds confidence, and supports their academic and emotional development.

Ongoing support from a dedicated team

We support SEND learners across all levels – from Primary through to A Level – with guidance from a dedicated Student Progress Manager, detailed feedback from subject Tutors, and access to optional 1:1 support from our Learning and Wellbeing team. Whether your child needs more time, more reassurance, or more flexibility, we’ll help them stay engaged, feel understood, and achieve their goals.
