Although homeschooling is perfectly legal in Saudi Arabia, many parents struggle to find high quality homeschool resources or an international school that they are happy with. With Wolsey Hall Oxford you can be assured that our courses are structured and either follow the Cambridge or English National Curriculum meaning your child’s education will be of a high standard and recognised worldwide. Your child is also able to return to a mainstream school at any point, if you wish, and continue with their education uninterrupted.

How our courses work

Our homeschool courses use a combination of online and offline resources, carefully chosen for your child’s level of learning, whether that’s Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE or A level. There are no online lessons to attend, making homeschooling in Jeddah much more flexible as your child studies at a time to suit them. They also determine the pace of learning so if your child quickly learns a particular subject they can progress through faster. Equally if they need to slow down to fully grasp what they are learning, they have this option too. We also enable children to study subjects according to their level of ability, rather than age.

Canvas is really easy to navigate even without prior experience or guide. I really liked that there are many links to resources for parents to be better prepared when taking on homeschooling.. e.g. phonics pronunciation and explanations of terms used. Noorah finds everything very easy and fun to do, she’s always excited for her lessons and is very relaxed so far.
