Charlotte Casey

Manager of Primary Student Support

Charlotte graduated with a degree in Philosophy and Education from the University of York and then gained a Masters Degree in English Literature from APU. Previous roles include working for the Government of the British Virgin Islands, where she supported overseas students coming to study in the UK for the first time.

After one of her children was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, she homeschooled her two daughters for four years. Through this experience she gained understanding of the challenges and rewards of trying to support and educate children in a holistic way. Charlotte has first-hand experience of working with special educational needs within the family and is passionate about individual learning programmes for children.

Outside of work, Charlotte loves to paint, particularly with oils. She also loves reading, theatre and walking in the hills near her home in Gloucestershire and going to the theatre with her family.
