Charlotte graduated with a degree in Philosophy and Education from the University of York and then gained a Masters Degree in English Literature from APU. She has had a number of roles including working for the Government of the British Virgin Islands, where she supported overseas students coming to study in the UK for the first time.
After one of her children was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, she homeschooled her two daughters for four years. Through this experience she gained understanding of the challenges and rewards that there can be when trying to support and educate children in a holistic way. Outside of work, Charlotte loves to paint, particularly with oils, and has exhibited her work most recently in Chicago. She also loves reading, walking in the hills near her home in Gloucestershire and going to the theatre with her family.
