Student Progress Manager

After completing her BEd in Primary Education at Westminster College, Oxford, Dani worked in Primary schools as a class teacher and SENCo before moving to Oxford Brookes University as a Senior Lecturer in Primary Education. There she specialised in Children’s Literature and Drama, which she supplemented by completing an MA in Children’s Literature.

Literature is still a passion of hers although with three children, reading time is not quite what it was! After enjoying some time off whilst her children were small, Dani returned to the classroom at her local Primary school as a part-time teacher, developing a keen interest and passion in supporting those children and young people who are autistic and is passionate about promoting positive neurodivergent identities.

After having travelled the world as a child, she is now based in Oxford with her family and much-loved cockapoo.
