Erica Abi-Karam

Student Progress Manager

Erica has recently moved to Devon having lived in Oxfordshire for over ten years, where she spent many years working as a self-employed bodywork therapist. She is now loving being out in nature, walking with her wife and dog Bali on the Moors and beaches of South Devon.

Since graduating with first class BSc in Biological Imaging, Erica has been a freelance photographer and has had exhibitions in London, Belgium and India during her time living abroad. She also shared her passion for photography in the charity sector teaching photography to vulnerable adults at Crisis and at a West London high school as a photography technician and loved supporting students with their creative learning.

The mentoring aspect of this role with senior students inspired Erica to work with us at Wolsey Hall Oxford as a Student Progress Manager. She also brings with her a keen interest of wellbeing and motivation for her students and colleagues alike, having been a Wellbeing Champion in previous roles during her career.

Erica is excited to continue supporting students and their families with their independent learning allowing them to travel, excel at sport or just continue with their homeschooling wherever in the world they call home.
