Student Progress Manager

Jane has always had a passion for learning and education, enjoying an extensive and varied career working with young people, adults, and families. Being therapeutically minded she uses an empathetic and nurturing approach creatively to help young people and adults become more confident to recognise their individual strengths and learning needs so they can engage fully in their learning.

More recently with the aid her lovely therapy dog Lola, Jane has worked to support foster care families and their vulnerable looked after young people, helping them to build positive trusting relationships to enable them to live in a safe family environment.

Having homeschooled her own son for four years Jane also understands both the many joys and some of the challenges that parents, and young people can face when learning at home and is looking forward to supporting her Wolsey Hall families in their journeys.

When not working Jane is usually enjoying the outdoors whatever the weather with her two dogs Lola and Barney and her horses. She has studied natural horsemanship and Equine Psychology for many years and is now also studying for a degree in Psychology and Counselling with the Open University.
