Michaela Pignotti

Manager of Secondary Student Support

Michaela graduated in MA English Language & Linguistics from the University of Aberdeen. Upon graduation, Michaela worked in university administration and student support roles for 10 years. She relocated from Scotland to Oxford and began as a Student Progress Manager for Wolsey Hall Oxford. Michaela enjoyed supporting many primary and secondary students and their parents for many years before moving into the role of Deputy Manager of Student Support. She helped to train staff members into their student support roles before moving into her current role of Manager of Student Support for secondary studies. 

Michaela is bilingual in English and German and enjoys travelling to spend time with family in Germany, Italy and Ireland.  

Born in the Bavarian Alps, Michaela spent some years travelling around Europe in an old VW camper van with her family and had lived in 6 countries before settling in Ireland at the age of 8. The world was her classroom until she began school in Ireland. 

Michaela lives in Oxfordshire with her Italian husband, two children and their very excitable cocker spaniel.
