Homeschooling in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Join the growing number of students homeschooling in Abu Dhabi

Wolsey Hall Oxford is delighted to welcome a growing number of families homeschooling in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. Abu Dhabi is the capital and the second-most populous city (after Dubai) of the United Arab Emirates. Our students are typically expat children whose families are looking for an international curriculum which is recognised by universities and employers around the world.

Many of our families who turn to homeschooling want a more flexible curriculum that allows their children to learn at their own pace. Our courses are designed to be engaging, academically rigorous and enjoyable and aim to help our students develop into independent learners.

We are a Cambridge approved course provider for Primary Level, Lower Secondary Level, GCSE Level and A Level courses.

Coumba, who is based in the UAE, says studying with Wolsey Hall Oxford allows her to balance her studies whilst playing tennis and participating in tournaments.

Top quality tutors

Our large team of experienced Tutors are rigorously selected and all hold UK recognised teaching qualifications. Students in Abu Dhabi can work through modules independently on our online learning platform, Canvas.

Our Tutors provide detailed and encouraging feedback on these assignments which enable students to see where they have done well and areas to improve. Students can contact their Tutors via email throughout their course if they need any additional assistance.

Flexibility

Our courses are very flexible as there are no online lessons to attend. This enables students to work through the courses at a pace that suits them. It also gives our students the opportunity to schedule their studies around other extra-curricular activities they may wish to pursue. Many parents appreciate this flexible approach as it allows their child time to develop other interests and experiences and become well-rounded individuals.

This flexiblity also enables students to study at a level suitable for them, for example if they are particularly advanced in a subject they can be accelerated to the most appropriate course level.
