Developing independent learners in Bangalore

Wolsey Hall Oxford is proud to support a large number of families homeschooling in Bangalore. The majority of our students from this cosmopolitan city are Indian nationals although we have a growing number of ex-pats from a wide range of countries studying with us while living in Bangalore.

Students homeschooling in Bangalore range from those starting out on their educational journey at Primary Level to those already thinking ahead to University and studying GCSE Level and A Level homeschooling courses.

From the youngest students at Primary Level to those at A Level, the aim of a Wolsey Hall Oxford course is to develop independent learning skills. Our Primary and Lower Secondary courses follow the UK curriculum, with the majority of our GCSE and A Level courses being from the Cambridge curriculum. From the outset of their studies with us, our goal is to ensure students have the tools to enable them to understand what they are learning rather than learning by rote and to question and expand their knowledge with practical examples.

The aim of many of our students homeschooling in Bangalore is to progress on to University. Our GCSE and A Level courses are accepted by top Universities around the world including in the UK and US. We have a University Advice Service where we help students plan their next steps and ensure the homeschooling courses they choose will enable them to enrol with the University of their choice.

Quality teaching

Our academically rigorous courses are put together by members of our Tutor team and are comprehensive in their content. Courses include modules that students work through and are complemented by textbooks and additional interesting resources. At the end of each module, students complete an assignment that is marked by their Tutor. Our Tutors provide detailed and encouraging feedback including suggestions on areas to improve.

Our Tutors are all fully qualified with UK recognised qualifications and many years of teaching experience.

Fees

Wolsey Hall Oxford fees are very competitive with top International schools in India.

Our fees include all the textbooks and course materials as well as support from Tutors and a Student Progress Manager who ensures your child keeps on track with their studies. Students access their courses via our online learning platform Canvas. Parents can access Canvas under their own login that provides them with sample answers as well as allowing them to track their child’s progress.
