IGCSE Economics

Benefits of studying Cambridge IGCSE Economics

Our Cambridge IGCSE Economics homeschooling course will enable your child to better understand the world around them – from discussions in the news, to how large corporations work, to why you have to pay so much money for gold or for diamonds. It will also give them a set of critical thinking tools to approach any problem they encounter. They will learn to analyse data, to understand patterns, to read and create concise and useful graphs. Studying Economics can also open interesting career paths – from working in business, to helping NGOs find sustainable development solutions.

I’ve found no better place to discover my potential as a learner than at Wolsey Hall Oxford. The time I have spent working towards completing my secondary education with them has been very encouraging and gratifying. I’ve received such a great amount of support. To add to this, I’ve been happy to discover that the subjects I once thought impossible are the ones I’ve grown to love and do well in. Amazing doesn’t even sum it up for me, it’s been a truly outstanding part of my journey.

My son James was homeschooled and we chose Wolsey Hall to support him. The learning material was clear and concise and he was buoyed by the knowledge that support was only an email away. They say that the proof of the pudding is in the eating. Well, James did a clean sweep of A* and A’s. Job done. Thanks Wolsey Hall.

Wolsey Hall Oxford’s IGCSE courses are excellent for students who wish to homeschool. The step by step programme of study, with designated textbooks and online resources ensured that my daughter understood the concepts and their application in a logical manner. She also benefitted from completing the assignments and past exam papers. She worked hard… asking questions, getting feedback from her Tutors and sharpening her exam technique. Without the Wolsey Hall Oxford programme, she would not have achieved her fantastic results (six A*’s in her IGCSEs in 2016).
