A world class education for homeschoolers in Pretoria

Wolsey Hall Oxford is delighted to welcome a growing number of families homeschooling in Pretoria.

As one of the world’s most established homeschooling course providers with students in over 130 countries worldwide, you can be assured of a top quality education for your child. Starting with our youngest students at Primary level to those at A Level, the aim of a Wolsey Hall Oxford course is to develop independent learning skills - there is no rote learning. Our Primary and Lower Secondary courses follow the UK curriculum, with the majority of our GCSE Level and A Level courses being from the Cambridge curriculum.

Over the years, we have welcomed many students to our courses including President Nelson Mandela, who studied for his Law degree with us while in jail on Robben Island.

Many of our students homeschooling in Pretoria have aspirations to go on to university in South Africa or abroad. Our GCSE Level and A Level courses are well recognised and respected by top Universities around the world. We also offer a University Advice Service where students can gain help in selecting and applying to the Universities that are right for them.

Flexibility

Our courses are very flexible as there are no online lessons to attend. This allows students the opportunity to pursue other interests or schedule extra-curricular activities around their study timetable. We have a number of elite athletes, performing artists and gifted students who have chosen to study through Wolsey Hall for this very reason.

Fees

Wolsey Hall Oxford fees are very competitive with top private and international schools in South Africa.

Wolsey Hall Oxford fees include all textbooks, access to our intuitive online learning platform, Canvas, as well as additional resources. Students will make their way through the modules at their own pace and submit assignments to their Tutors. Our Tutors are also available to answer any queries via email that your child may have as they progress through their course. Additionally all students have a Student Progress Manager who is available to assist them with all non-academic questions and ensure they keep on track with their studies.
