Career Advisory Service

Helping your child navigate their future with confidence

Deciding what to do after your education isn’t always easy. If your child is considering different career options and finding the process overwhelming, our Career Advisory Service will guide them on all aspects of choosing a career that’s right for them – from choosing the best courses, to applying for jobs, writing a CV and preparing for interviews.

Careers advice you can trust

Our Career Advisory Service is here to support both UK and international students with personalised careers guidance. For those unsure what path to take after completing their studies with us, we’ll help them choose between higher education, apprenticeships or direct-to-employment routes. We’ll also offer advice to answer questions such as:

  • Which subjects should I take at IGCSE and A Level?
  • What extracurricular activities should I be considering?
  • Do I need to have work experience?
  • How can I find out about different career paths?
  • What careers have good prospects for the future?
  • Where do I look for apprenticeship options?
  • How do I apply for jobs?
  • How do I create a CV?
  • How can I prepare effectively for a job interview?

Please note that our Career Advisory Service is for students already enrolled with Wolsey Hall Oxford, and as part of our admissions process.
