Highly recommended! Experienced and professional homeschooling in Zambia from Wolsey Hall Oxford!
Wolsey Hall Oxford came recommended from friends and colleagues when looking for Cambridge homeschooling family option for our 16 year old daughter in Zambia. We were not disappointed with the recommendations and the outcome of homeschooling in her selected A level subjects - Business Studies, English Language, Economics and History. The experience of the teachers and support network at Wolsey resulted in our daughter being accepted in a UK Russel Group University. Thank you Wolsey Hall Oxford team and Erica in particular, as you made it easier for us as parents throughout the homeschooling process which was new for us! Recommended by our family!

Professional, well-oiled institution
Wolsey is a highly professional institution that has clearly been operating for decades. The support, when needed, is always good. The course design and content is excellent, and makes the various subjects interesting. The tutor support is very helpful. We also appreciated the University Advice section of the school

My daughter started at Wolsey Hall when…
My daughter started at Wolsey Hall when she was 12 and is now 19.We were living aboard and she had a very difficult time transitioning from primary to secondary. She developed school refusal/anxiety and we reluctantly contacted Wolsey Hall as all other options had failed us.Changed everything ensuring she got a first class education and on her way to university. We cant recommend them enough in giving a steady hand to children who for whatever reason do not fit well with main stream education

Excellent results for a motivated child
My daughter transferred to Wolsey Hall when she started to suffer situational anxiety in school. She transferred in February 2020, and then of course the pandemic struck, actually meaning that she was in a far better position than her peers, with Wolsey Hall already set up for remote learning. The individual approach whereby she was given assignments and left to manage her own time in fact worked really well for her, and she benefited from her tutors feedback, both of whom were excellent. The only slight niggle was with the administration of the timetable for assignments. Due to some miscalculation she ended up having to do the last few in a very short window which added to the usual stress. The student progress manager was however very helpful and we never had any difficulty getting a response to our queries. My daughter ended up with 3 A grades at A level and is now at Cardiff University. Recommended, with the caveat that your child has to be motivated to manage their own time. There is no set timetable for study and no online classes. It suited her, she worked hard and did extremely well.
