Flexible homeschooling: personalised education for your child

Overview

The flexibility of homeschooling

You know as well as we do that mainstream school doesn’t work for every child. With the old-fashioned, inflexible approach that every child should learn in the same way – complete with the same strict timetables, teacher-directed learning style, crowded classrooms and stretched resources – is it any wonder that some children struggle to reach their full potential in the traditional system?

We believe that every child deserves an education that’s as unique as they are. That’s why we’ve pioneered the most personalised, pupil-led educational approach of any school in the world – where your child can fit their learning around their life, not the other way around. Giving them the flexibility to learn in their own way, at their own pace, in their own time, and in their own place, wherever you are in the world.

Why you may need more flexibility for your child’s education

Many parents choose to homeschool thanks to the huge amount of flexibility it offers. There are several reasons why your child might need more flexibility than they can get in mainstream school:

  • They may have extracurricular passions such as sport or the arts, and need to fit their learning around intense training and performing schedules to pursue their talents
  • They might have health needs or a serious illness which makes going to mainstream school more difficult, as well as having to attend medical appointments
  • They may have a neurodiverse condition or disability which means they struggle in a traditional classroom setting, and have more specific learning needs
  • You could be a family that travels around a lot of has to relocate frequently for work, and need to create a more consistent learning experience for your child so they don’t fall behind
  • They might be a gifted learner or need to study at a slower pace than their peers, rather than sticking to the same pace as the rest of the class
