My children have been studying at this…
My children have been studying at this school for the second year now. We combine their education at an international school in Spain with courses at WH (English, Science, ICT). Having experienced schooling in three different countries, I can confidently say that the quality of education in certain subjects at WH is significantly higher than what even top-tier international schools offer onsite. I am very happy to have found a place that challenges and inspires my children in the best way possible.

It works so well for our family. We are really enjoying the Wolsey Hall…
We are really enjoying the Wolsey Hall experience! It’s so professionally run and the course work is fun and engaging. The tutors are all superb and so encouraging. Our daughter is new to the UK curriculum having been home schooled in Portugal all of her life. (By law she had to follow the Portuguese curriculum) she’s absorbing the content so fast and still has lots of free time for her ballet and farm animals.

Highly recommended! Experienced and professional homeschooling in Zambia from Wolsey Hall Oxford!
Wolsey Hall Oxford came recommended from friends and colleagues when looking for Cambridge homeschooling family option for our 16 year old daughter in Zambia. We were not disappointed with the recommendations and the outcome of homeschooling in her selected A level subjects - Business Studies, English Language, Economics and History. The experience of the teachers and support network at Wolsey resulted in our daughter being accepted in a UK Russel Group University. Thank you Wolsey Hall Oxford team and Erica in particular, as you made it easier for us as parents throughout the homeschooling process which was new for us! Recommended by our family!

Great Educational Bridge
When moving from one country to another, one of the most challenging tasks was to ensure continuity in schooling for our 12-year-old daughter. Wolsey Hall provided the best solution at a reasonable cost. The enrolment process was smooth. We chose seven courses, before being introduced to their respective tutors. All of them were really friendly, helpful and encouraging. What impressed me most was the detailed feedback provided for each assignment. Student Progress Manager Daisy Datson, who was overseeing our daughter's performance, gave us regular updates and messages of support. We stopped online home schooling after completing our move from the Philippines to Scotland. Thanks to Wolsey Hall for helping with the move!

My daughter started at Wolsey Hall when…
My daughter started at Wolsey Hall when she was 12 and is now 19.We were living aboard and she had a very difficult time transitioning from primary to secondary. She developed school refusal/anxiety and we reluctantly contacted Wolsey Hall as all other options had failed us.Changed everything ensuring she got a first class education and on her way to university. We cant recommend them enough in giving a steady hand to children who for whatever reason do not fit well with main stream education

Flexible Schedule and Helpful Teachers
I highly recommend Wolsey Hall to other parents who find themselves in non-traditional working situations or whose children require more flexibility in their education. I'm delighted to share that my daughter has seamlessly transitioned into a private school in Malaysia, following the IGCSE syllabus. She is thriving academically and socially. This smooth transition is a testament to the solid foundation she received during her homeschooling years.

A life without Wolsey Hall, I cannot imagine!
We have had a great experience with Wolsey Hall. Both of my children's lives and our lives are richer for the homeschooling experience with them. We love our teachers. The support we receive is incomparable and on a very personal level. They get to know the child at the heart. Having spent a few years in the "traditional" school environment, we feel that Wolsey Hall opened our eyes to a whole new type of education. We pay a huge amount of money in Zimbabwe for Private Education. That education has collapsed, it has become more about the money than actually educating our children, I am so grateful every day for Wolsey Hall. They have provided our children with a holistic whole rounded education that no school in Zimbabwe can give.

Wolsey Hall is simply a fantastic!
Wolsey Hall is simply a fantastic school ! My daughter just finished her secondary education with this school. The tutor's and project managers are superb . The courses are demanding but are approached with constructive positivity! One of my favorites is when an assignment is graded the comments are listed under points of strength and points of action. This encouraged my daughter to apply herself , take action to learn, rather than purely focusing on a grade. In addition , if she needed help on a particular subject she could arrange for a private session with her tutor. Now she is off to the university of her dreams on a full scholarship. The most important lesson she learned at Wolsey Hall is how to learn, which will last her a lifetime.

The perfect schooling for our sons!
We live a long way from any respectable English medium school.. up in the misty hills of Sri Lanka, so we tried Wolsey Hall Oxford for our two sons, Taru and Kiran. It's been two years now and it has been such a success because WHO is so efficiently run by such a lovely team that our boys enjoy schooling and have have achieved some very good results. WHO suits our needs perfectly and its a real pleasure interacting with the teachers as well as with Natalie Tighe the Student Progress Manager.

Excellent well established online school
When we were looking for a UK government approved home school for our daughter aged 15 Wolsey Hall oxford stood out to us from the start being one of the most experienced online home schools it made it a reassuring logical choice when our daughter changed from attending a physical school at the start of year 10. From our initial information zoom call we were really impressed with the online learning platform canvas and the range of GCSEs and the whole ethos and set up of the online school seemed quite straightforward and easy to use, when we signed up for our daughters GCSEs courses each subject course book arrived with us so fast then we all had some time to navigate and get used to canvas the online learning platform our daughter picked it up fast next we all met with her assigned student support manager Erica who has been a wonderful support to our daughter and to us too we all can contact Erica and she keeps in regular contact with our daughter having a super friendly point of contact like Erica with whom we can communicate with so easily has been so helpful in our home schooling journey she helps my daughter with extensions for assignments if she is struggling and she really encourages our daughter with positive and constructive feedback which really helps her mindset. The subject tutors are easy to reach if you have any questions you just feel less alone with Wolsey hall my daughter has become such an independent learner and is now so organised and is learning that reaching out for help is something she can now do without feeling so worried or anxious as Erica and all the tutors have been so kind and reassuring to her she wants to do her best and a huge weight has been lifted off her shoulders since she started at Wolsey hall oxford our daughter is so much happier and is far less anxious I'm so grateful to Wolsey hall for all the help and support they constantly provide my daughter is actually now looking forward to subjects she once disliked at school and is enjoying her Igcses and different subject challenges and it is so very wonderful to see her passionate and so engaged in her learning again thank you wolsey hall for making this transition to online learning so straightforward for us all

Great Experience with Wolsey Hall Oxford Homeschool
My daughter has been studying at Wolsey Hall Oxford since she was 6 years old. Now she is in her second year of schooling and in her Year 2. I am extremely satisfied with the programme offered and the teachers’ way in carrying out the lessons for my daughter was amazing. I am also convinced in the teaching methodology used at this online homeschool. It is to my expectancy. My daughter loved the offline teaching videos and she enjoy learning on her own. I am glad that I am giving her the right education needed at this young age. The teachers as well as the managers for my daughter were very friendly and organized. I can see a lot of improvement in her self independent skill as well. She learns Mathematical skills, spelling and reading words and also writing in a fun way.. Besides this, the way the concept of Mathematics taught ease the kid’s understanding and make the kid to have a love towards numbers. The designed syllabus makes my daughter to be creative, imaginative and futuristic. She learns problem solving as well and I am very much impressed in this. The teachers’ feedback and the way they approach me as a parent creates a great respect on them. I am fully satisfied with the way the teachers carry out the online lessons with my daughter and the way they approach her were very pleasing. The activities & worksheets were fantastic and engaged her to the maximum. Thanks to Wolsey Hall for this great opportunity given to Rahini to follow the UK Homeschooling System. I highly recommend Wolsey Hall to future parents that intend to homeschool kids in a fun way and engaging way. Lata ( parent of Rahini )

Very satisfied I can only recommend
We're using Wolsey Hall since our son is 9 years old, on a part-time basis because we're in continental Europe and he's already enrolled in the local school system. While you should expect to spend time with your kid on the lessons and exercises, I do fully recommend the school because it is very rigorous and supportive. They also offer optional web based tutoring if it is one's wish, and there are many clubs for those who have more time. The curriculum is basically what you'd experience in UK, so overall very good and progressive. The pace for mathematics is quite high, but it is worth the effort. If you're looking for a self-service, web based school, this is probably not the right one, but if you're looking for a rigorous but yet fun (for example the english module) and that can adapt to each one's lifestyle this is really a great option. They also prepare well for iGCSE which is a recognized diploma.

iGCSE Coordinated Sciences (double award) "AA" Result
Our son received his Cambridge Coordinated Science iGCSE (Double Award) results yesterday with an "AA" - and we are so thankful to Wolsey Hall!! Having already completed a year of his iGCSEs in a school overseas and then us unexpectedly moving back to the UK last summer, we found ourselves needing tailored support for a subject both my husband and I (both teachers) were unable to support at all!! His progress manager devised a bespoke plan to keep our son focused and on track so we didn't have to worry about his Science at all. His experienced tutor provided fast turnaround on assignment feedback which was incredibly helpful for him to work on his gaps, and then recommended past paper revision on the run up to the exams. Having reviewed his previous school report, he was on target for B in the sciences, yet thanks to standard of resources, assessment and motivation from Wolsey, his grades have been pulled up to AA!! Thank you so much!!

Homeschooling from Namibia
We had a very disappointing experience enrolling our son and daughter with a Germany based home school. I found out about Wolsey Hall through a parent in Namibia. I was a bit anxious to approach the school and try and get my son enrolled. The very first contact and every other contact and communication we have had with the school has just been amazing. Everyone at the school is so super friendly and helpful, always offering assistance and checking that all is good. We felt right at home and welcome! It was so easy to enroll and get started, friendly support all the way! The educational level is top quality which will open doors worldwide and the material and curriculum is very modern, up-to-date with the current times and user/child friendly. My son enjoys the learning process and is thriving. The positivity, enthusiasm and encouragement he receives from the school boosts his willingness to do his best and enhances his educational development in so many ways. We will not look back! After trying out two modules, we will enroll him for all his subjects. Our daughter will follow this year still and in a few years our third child will be enrolled too. They have figured everything out to make it a very pleasant and smooth experience. From how payments can be made to the material being shipped, it all works quickly and with ease. I wish I could have done my school journey at Wolsey Hall as a pupil.

We live in Saudi Arabia and my son was…
We live in Saudi Arabia and my son was going to normal school. But once the pandemic struck, we were lost how to go about things because the online classes were not up to the mark. The focus in school was to finish the curriculum regardless if the child understands anything or not. The teachers in normal school weren’t that supportive neither qualified to cater the needs of the children or even the Cambridge curriculum. My friend offered me to look into Wolsey Hall and explained to me how brilliant and smooth her journey has been with them. The teachers reviews, their positivity and how they uplift the kids is beyond words can say. The curriculum is also where I am highly impressed by for example in geography they are already teaching ethics and sustainability of business apart from general geography topics and how can you create your own business from it. My son absolutely enjoys each and every subject and can’t wait each month to get a response to his assignments. I have enrolled my second son as well in grade 2 and I already see a difference in a years’ time. There are numerous experiments to be carried out in science; maths has a fun of teaching; English has grammar and is loaded with creativity stories to write. It has been 2 years since we started Wolsey and it has been the best decision so far for us as a family. From their support team to teacher everything is brillant. In all, both my kids enjoy the homeschooling experience and neither would want to go back to mainstream schooling.

Homeschooling Year 4 in Zambia
My daughter is currently doing year 4 English through Wolsey Hall. The educational level is very high. The programme is practical, easy to follow, clearly laid out, full of different challenges and packed with a variety of educational tools. Course books are available to purchase, lesson plans are provided for each study day, and links to fun activities and specific tutoring material are available throughout. An online library is accessible and there are clubs to join and monthly competitions! Tutors and Student Progress Managers are very helpful and knowledgeable. I really cannot recommend Wolsey Hall for homeschooling enough!!!

Home schooling in rural Uganda
We live in rural Uganda and started using Wolsey Hall Oxford when our eldest hit secondary school age in 2020. This was after consideration of other home school providers and educational options. We were conscious of the financial costs involved, but the reviews of Wolsey Hall were excellent and the system of study sounded very suitable so we decided to give it a go! And we don't regret it - the service has been excellent. Well worth the money! The work is well set out with good resources; the tutors are very helpful and quick to provide feedback; the Student Progress Managers are always willing to answer questions and guide. We started with 3 subjects for our eldest in 2020, our middle child commenced Upper primary for 1 subject in 2021, and for this academic year our eldest is studying 6 subjects, and our middle child 2! That says a lot in itself! One of the positive aspects of the work is being able to plan your own timetable. This allows us to take time away from compound hospital ministry at times that suit us/the hospital, rather than around schooling terms. And earlier this year we were able to spend 4 months back in Northern Ireland (our first time out of Uganda since before COVID), and take a complete break from school. Additionally, our eldest has started to study some iGCSE subjects, and he will be able to complete those in Uganda! This was another consideration to our decision. Overall, we have really enjoyed using Wolsey Hall Oxford. Our boys are progressing well. We are very happy to recommend it to others.

We began with WH in 2020, and haven’t looked back.
As a family, we had never contemplated homeschooling, but as with many families, lockdown changed all that. Schools have finally re-opened in Uganda now, but we love homeschooling with WH so much we haven’t gone back! When we were faced with the need to homeschool our girls, we did a lot of research about what would suit our girls best, and were so excited to find WH. We were reluctant to use an online programme, leaving them on screens all day, or to enter into the world of workbooks and sheets! We wanted to be a part of their learning, to learn with them and be part of their education. We began with WH in 2020, and haven’t looked back. We received a lot of support from the WH team in choosing the right level for our daughters to start, acquiring the text books and understanding how Canvas and the lesson plans worked. Our eldest daughter is now in year 4, and our second daughter is in year 3. We will have no hesitation about enrolling our third daughter and son when they are old enough. Our girls study English, Maths and Science at WH. The curriculum helps us feel like we are going an appropriate level and pace for the girls, but at the same time the lessons are interesting, varied and stimulating. We are very grateful for the flexibility that homeschooling gives us, allowing us to fit it around life, health and work. Natural pauses can be made as needed and no work is missed. We both work full-time, but the clear lesson plans and easy to follow structure means we can focus on the teaching and learning and not on the lesson planning. The access to multiple online platforms, including the extensive e-library, has been a fantastic addition to the lessons. Our Student Progress Manager, Vicky, has always been very supportive and helpful with any questions or challenges we have had with the course, always responding by email the same day. Our tutors, Tanja and Rachel, have been awesome, having zoom calls with the girls every 1-2 months to encourage and support them in their work. It has been hugely helpful to have someone outside the family to offer support and to be accountable too. Our girls look forward to these catch up sessions, to discuss their work, do some reading and to share recent experiences together. Their timely, helpful and in-depth feedback on the assignments helps us all improve and grow. We never dreamed we would be a homeschooling family, but WH has changed that. Being a British family living in Uganda, we had always planned to move back to the UK for secondary school, but WH will allow us to continue living and studying in Uganda for as long as we need too. We couldn’t be more happy with WH and the experience we have had.

Wolsey Hall Oxford, the best home school provider
Since the emergence of Covid in 2020, my husband and I, started considering an alternative way of schooling for our 2 children. High quality education, a British international curriculum and a Cambridge accredited home school provider, enabling our children to study any place in the world, were our main aims. I must admit Wolsey Hall Oxford accomplished so much more than those initial aims! Our children thrive in this environment where lesson content is always interesting and interactive. Our son is Twice Exceptional (2E) and the learning support center under management of Deja Pygott, made the necessary accommodations for him, to enable him to flourish academically. The ongoing support and constructive feedback from our Student Progress Manager, Charlotte Casey and subject tutors (Emilie Champion, Rachel Pereira da Silva, Nathalie Hanney, Ed Morris and James Hazel) enables our 2 children (daughter aged 9 and son aged 11 years) to accomplish all their study goals with eagerness and success. We will definitively continue this journey with Wolsey Hall Oxford and we feel truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful and supportive team. Wilmaré Gouws – South Africa

Amazing IGCSE Tutoring and Support
I was a student with Wolsey Hall Oxford for a year and a half whilst studying for my IGCSEs and I loved it. Their way of teaching and independent study gives you the choice of when to study and how to plan your studying around your life, activities or movement. Wolsey's teachers are all supportive, helpful, and give thorough feedback on your past mistakes, and really help you to achieve the grades that you can. I got 3 A*s 3 As 2 Bs and 1 C, a huge improvement from my past studies. I would recommend Wolsey Hall Oxford to everyone who's living abroad and needing British education or home schooling in the UK. You can't go wrong with Wolsey.

We were looking for an alternative online school for A Levels
We were looking for an alternative online school for A Levels. We found Wolsey Hall online, watched a few videos and filled in the information request form. Tina replied with a kind and informative email which she immediately followed up with a video call. Tina has gone above and beyond all of our expectations to help and has really made us feel like the school cares. The whole experience has left us as a family feeling confident that we have made the right choice and looking forward to getting started.

No regrets at all.... Wolsey Hall are excellent.
A work move to Tokyo meant we had to make some tough decisions on A Level education for our son. Shopping around it was clear there was a plethora of distance learning providers, but Wolsey Hall seemed to stand out. We plumped for them, based upon their references and we were not disappointed; in fact we were delighted. Our son enrolled for three A Levels and it was clear from day one that Wolsey Hall were attentive, rigorous, disciplined and a delight for him to deal with. Feedback from the coursework was fast, comprehensive and very personalised, his tutors always accessible and delight to deal with, providing excellent exam preparation. The administration of the books, coursework, lesson plans and other issues was spot-on. Wolsey Hall has our strongest recommendation and they have our fulsome praise and thanks for their efforts; he passed all three with great grading and will start University this year. My Son wears his Wolsey Hall sweatshirt with pride, they are very much his Alma Mater. Delighted!

Wolsey Hall is an excellent school for…
Wolsey Hall is an excellent school for young adults to excel in their studies. Using the homeschooling system allows adolescents to develop a sense of orderliness, perseverance, patience and importance of achievement. The way the system works is very clear, efficient and straightforward with many resources provided. Tutors are very helpful, always giving inspiring compliments as well as advising on how to improve and where to focus attention. Wolsey Hall gave our daughter a unique opportunity to study AS and A levels while living in France. We are very grateful for the invaluable help we received from all the team. The synergy of hard work and support produced exceptionally great results: our daughter was accepted to one of the best universities.

Excellent Communication and Course Structures
My daughter completed 8 iGCSEs through Wolsey Hall. We have been very impressed with their level of service. They are easy to contact, the courses are well structured and the tutors provide detailed feedback throughout the courses. Parents and students do need to be aware that these courses are online and so a great deal of effort and good time management on the student's part is required to achieve good results, but Wolsey definitely provides all the resources, quizzes, assignments and detailed feedback that will keep a student on track and prepare them for the exams. We also really appreciate the extra help Wolsey provides, such as finding an exam centre and choosing further study options. We are very glad we found Wolsey Hall and would recommend them as a foundation for home study both in the UK and abroad.
