Overview

Our Lower Secondary International History homeschooling course will introduce your child to a rich variety of cultures and religions around the world by taking a global view of the past. Designed to help your child think about history from a global perspective, this course encourages them to: 

  • Think about history across borders. 
  • Gain a deeper appreciation of cultural and religious variety. 
  • Learn how national stories intersect through contact down the ages. 

This course nurtures your child’s appreciation of global history through a flexible blend of online and offline learning they can progress through with confidence.


Additional information

Requirements: Your child won’t need any previous knowledge to take our Lower Secondary International History homeschooling course, which starts from the basics. Year 7 and 8 use a digital book that your child can download as a PDF and add notes and bookmarks to. They’ll also have access to a searchable online dictionary and downloadable glossaries. When they reach Year 9, they’ll use a paper copy of a textbook with access to a digital book. 

Study method: A mix of online and offline study with structured content, designed for more independent learning. Expert Tutor feedback and a dedicated Student Progress Manager are included to help support your child’s progress.
