Overview

Our Lower Primary Humanities course introduces your child to the world around them — past and present. Combining early History and Geography, this course will help your child begin to understand places, people and events through a mix of storytelling, exploration and hands-on activities.

Your child will learn about their local environment, explore contrasting places around the globe, and discover how daily life and significant events have shaped the world we know today.

The course follows the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 History and Geography, completed over two years. With your support, they’ll build early research and observation skills while developing a growing sense of time, place and perspective — preparing them for more in-depth study in Upper Primary History and Geography.
