Overview

Our Year 1 & Year 2 Skills for Life courses will help your child develop the personal, social and emotional skills they need to grow into a confident, resilient and caring individual.

Through age-appropriate topics and activities, they’ll explore how to understand themselves and others, manage emotions, and build positive relationships — with you there to support their learning every step of the way.

The courses include regular mindfulness activities to help children focus, regulate their feelings and build healthy thinking habits. Topics such as teamwork, online safety, feelings and positive decision-making are introduced in gentle, engaging ways.

The courses follow the UK Key Stage 1 PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic) curriculum, completed over two years. It provides the emotional tools and mindset your child will carry into Upper Primary and beyond.

Course samples for Primary courses

We provide course samples so you can explore our Primary courses before enrolling your child.

A course sample gives you a clear preview of the course structure, content, and level, helping you decide whether it is right for your child.

A course sample includes:

  • An overview of learning covered across the course
  • Example lessons
  • The first assignment from the course
  • Information about learning materials and guidance

The course sample shows what the course would look like if your child were enrolled, helping you feel confident before moving on to making an enquiry or application.
