Homeschooling exam results

Our 2021 exam results

Below are the Wolsey Hall Oxford homeschooling exam results for the May 2021 exam series. These are a combination of results for in-person exams from countries where exams were able to run and Centre Assessed Grades for countries where exams were cancelled due to Covid restrictions.

As an online homeschooling provider, Wolsey Hall Oxford is not an exam centre and as such we do not receive exam results directly from the examination boards. We request parents to share their results with us, therefore the figures below are the summary of received responses.

We have also included a comparison with the England/UK national averages for the same period where all results would have been Centre Assessed Grades.

Wolsey Hall Oxford is a registered school of Cambridge Assessment International Education

We are proud to be part of the world’s largest international community of schools.

Some individual student successes

We’d like to extend our congratulations to some individual students on their IGCSE exam results. You can read their full stories by clicking on their names.

17-year-old Vuselelo from Zimbabwe but homeschooling in Uganda achieved A*, A*, A*, A*, A.

Ayesha who is homeschooling in Dubai achieved 9, A*, A*, A*, A, B. B.

16-year-old Lucy was delighted to gain A*, A*, A, A, A, A, B, B.

Well done to all our students!

I’ve just got my results back and let’s just say I’m so happy! I am very lucky to have done schooling through this system. I used to go to regular school, where although my grades weren’t bad, I was struggling to keep up with everyone. I’ve found the best thing about Wolsey Hall is how I’m able to work at my own pace, so I’m never leaving topics behind that I don’t understand. Every question or problem I’ve had has been answered either through the Canvas resources or by my tutors. I’m really grateful for Wolsey for helping me pass all my exams, and I look forward to continue into my AS and AL years!

My son Victor received the Cambridge Outstanding Learner Award 2018 in China, for his 95% AS Level Maths result! We had a great time at the ceremony. Victor is obviously the youngest award winner as he skipped two years of Maths in school. The other winners for AS or A Level are either at Year 13 or studying at University level already! The IGCSE subject award winners were already in Year 12, whilst Victor is only in Year 11. I hope he will get more awards next year, with his IGCSE subjects and A Level Maths.
