Homeschooling in Hong Kong

Wolsey Hall Oxford has a growing number of families homeschooling in Hong Kong taking courses ranging from Primary and Secondary Level and through to IGCSE and A levels. Our students include Hong Kong nationals as well as expatriate children living in Hong Kong.

Many families choose homeschooling in Hong Kong as they have been unable to get their children into the school of their choice or the costs of a private education have become prohibitive.

Whatever the reason, Wolsey Hall is delighted to welcome Hong Kong students into our growing community.

About our courses

Wolsey Hall Oxford offers structured homeschooling courses that allow flexibility for children to extend their learning into the areas that interest them whilst also giving them the time to pursue other outside activities. Our online homeschooling courses are supported by text books that we provide at the start of the course.

There are no timetabled online lessons but Tutors are available to support your child when they need help via email. They also provide detailed feedback on assignments to your child within 3-5 working days so that your child is motivated and engaged as they work through the course.

My son Victor received the Cambridge Outstanding Learner Award 2018 in China, for his 95% AS Level Maths result! We had a great time at the ceremony. Victor is obviously the youngest award winner as he skipped two years of Maths in school. The other winners for AS or A Level are either at Year 13 or studying at University level already! The IGCSE subject award winners were already in Year 12, whilst Victor is only in Year 11. I hope he will get more awards next year, with his IGCSE subjects and A Level Maths.
