Wolsey Hall Oxford offers structured homeschooling courses that allow flexibility for children to extend their learning into the areas that interest them whilst also giving them the time to pursue other outside activities. Our online homeschooling courses are supported by text books that we provide at the start of the course. There are no timetabled online lessons but Tutors are available to support your child when they need help via email. Homeschooling has been such a special experience to me, and it turned out that it brought a such a significant amount of learning and growing for both my daughter and myself. First of all, it is not popular to have homeschooling in Hong Kong. It took us such courage to take that step out. Trust is the key word — you trust your child’s inner knowing and needs; you trust life to give you the opportunity to take the responsibility to guide your child. That is it. Secondly, nurturing self-learning skill is the key for homeschooling. Thirdly, Hong Kong has wonderful Examination Centre (Hong Kong Exams & Assessment Facility). It offers widely range of subjects and good service. Lastly, and very importantly, it is good to find an academic institute to give support on curriculum. In Hong Kong there are a few places you can contact with to gain homeschooling support services, However, we are just so luck to connected with Wolsey Hall at the very beginning when we decided to homeschooling. The tailor made program and all the wonderful tutors played very important role in making this homeschooling journey a smooth and enjoyable one. There are so much love and support in this journey of homeschooling. Thanks to the life!
