Homeschooling in Ireland

Wolsey Hall Oxford has seen a steady rise in the number of families homeschooling in Ireland. We support students from Primary and Secondary age through to IGCSE and A Levels.

Once children in Ireland reach six years old, they are required to be in education. If you wish to homeschool you need to register your intention with TUSLA the Child and Welfare Agency which gives detailed advice including a comprehensive application form.

Many parents home educating in Ireland find following a structured curriculum makes the process of homeschooling much easier.
