Primary English as a Second Language (E2L)

Developing skills in a second language

This Primary English as a Second Language (E2L) course is for students who have not previously been formally taught in English or who have limited English language learning to date, and whose English is at a very basic level. For those who have a working knowledge of English we recommend first language English. If you are in any doubt as to the most suitable course for your student we can offer a placement check, at no charge, to help you decide. Students need to be at least 7 years old to study this course.
To complete the course successfully, it is highly recommended that the student is supported in each lesson by an adult who has a working knowledge of English. This will enable them to make the best use of the learning materials provided.
