Overview

Our Year 7-9 Digital Literacy homeschooling short courses will help your child build the skills they need to use digital technology safely and responsibly. They’ll learn how to:

  • Harness the power of digital technologies for positive impact.
  • Craft captivating content using cutting-edge digital tools.
  • Explore the rapidly evolving digital landscape to spot future risks and opportunities.

Designed to help your child understand how to stay safe online whilst making the most of exciting new technologies, studying this course at Lower Secondary level will prepare them for the future through a balanced mix of online and offline study, which they can work through at their own pace.

These courses follow the Cambridge Lower Secondary Digital Literacy Curriculum Framework and is ideal if your child is interested in how we use computers in our everyday lives, covering everything from how people interact on social media to fake news and emerging technologies like AI. If your child is interested in how computers work, wants to learn how to program and hopes to progress onto GCSE Level Computer Science, they may prefer our Computing course.
