Becky Laughton

Becky has worked in education management and support for over 20 years and has gained a wealth of experience in student advice and guidance. She loves working with young people and believes she can learn a lot from them.

Becky has a particular interest in global learning and enjoys meeting families from all over the world. She has gained a distinction level MA Education from the University of Nottingham, where she specialised in international student wellbeing and support. Her dissertation research into cultural difference in the way students access support has given her a great insight into how she can help learners from a diverse range of backgrounds reach their full potential.

When not at work Becky looks after her three children and is very involved in her local community. Living in a village in rural Leicestershire, she enjoys getting outdoors to walk her Jack Russell Terrier, Loki. She also passionate about history, days out, and travel.
