IGCSE online courses

Courses typically for 14- to 16-year-olds

We offer an extensive range of IGCSE online courses for home learning. The IGCSE is the world’s most popular exam qualification for 14- to 16-year-olds, and the Cambridge IGCSE is recognised by universities and employers worldwide.

In the UK, most children in a traditional school take seven to ten IGCSE subjects over two academic years to gain a broad general education before going on to specialise at A level. We strongly recommend this approach for English Language and Mathematics.

It is also possible to split IGCSE exams over two years and to take four or five in each year. However, you need to bear in mind the impact on university entry, learning, timing, content and skills development. For students who wish to study English Language and Maths in this way, we ask that your child completes a pre-enrolment test to ensure suitability. Further details of this can be given by our Admissions Team.

We recommend you discuss with our Admissions Team the particular circumstances of your child so we can advise on both the number of subjects we recommend and the duration of your child’s course of study.
